The John F. Kennedy Memorial Performing Arts Center, commonly known as the Kennedy Center, will be renamed the “Trump-Kennedy Center,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Thursday.
Board of trustees of the prestigious Washington DC cultural center appointed Leavitt said they “voted unanimously” on the name change by President Donald Trump in February. x post.
Leavitt said they did so “because of the incredible work President Trump did last year to save the building.”
“Congratulations to President Donald J. Trump and likewise to President Kennedy, because this team will be a truly great team in the future! The building will undoubtedly reach new levels of success and magnificence,” he said.
