Kerala Tourism Organises Onam Special Bus to Flower Fields of Karnataka

Kannur: As part of the annual consent celebrations, Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) budget tourism organized a daily trip from Kannur to the flower fields of Gundlupet in Karnataka, popularly known as ‘Pot of India’. The initiative aims to offer people a budget -friendly option to enjoy wide, colorful spaces.
Journey, Tourism Cell Kannur Regional Coordinator Tanseer Kr, responsible unit Rajeesh K and Guide Swapna P P. Kannur unit regular travelers also participated in the first trip.
Tourist Angha Rajan explained his pleasant experience: “As we all know, traveling in KSRTC means just traveling from the bus. Gundlupet is full of natural beauty and nature. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very friendly, very friendly, making us feel good.”
Ayisha Beevi, another tourist, admitted that he initially hesitated because of stereotypes where KSRTC journeys were uncomfortable. “At first I wasn’t interested in this journey, but this journey was incredible. The staff was friendly, organization and punctuality. The food was very good and we didn’t have to wait in the queues,” he said.
The package organized under the special instructions of Regional Transportation Officer V Manoj Kumar started from Kannur at 5 am and returned to midnight.
This year, consent is celebrated between 26 August and 5 September. The festival observed in Chingam points to the beginning of the Malayalam calendar and a harvest celebration. Families wear balls to honor the return of King Mahabali home, gift shopping and traditional cascading yellow and mundus.
