Vitor Pereira: Wolves sack manager after winless start to Premier League season

Wolves have sacked coach Vitor Pereira, who has failed to win any of his 10 Premier League matches this season.

Saturday’s 3-0 defeat against Fulham was Wolves’ eighth of the top-flight season.

They are at the bottom of the standings, eight points clear of safety.

Pereira took over in December 2024 and signed a new three-year contract in September.

But fans turned on him following last week’s 3-2 defeat against Burnley and the Portuguese had to be removed from heated arguments with fans after playing full-time at Molineux.

Wolves beat West Ham and Everton in the Carabao Cup this season but were eliminated in the last 16 by Chelsea on Wednesday.
