King Charles makes hilarious blunder during royal outing | Royal | News

Even after more than six decades of royal duty, accidents still happen to King Charles. During an engagement in Oxfordshire on Friday, the King went into hysterics when he knocked a plaque off an easel during the unveiling.
The King was visiting the Oxford Photovoltaic plant at Yarnton, near Oxford. Founded in 2010, the company known as Oxford PV is a leading solar energy innovator and manufacturer operating in the field of Perovskite-based PV.
When his visit ended, His Majesty was invited to unveil a plaque commemorating his time there. While trying to pull the blue sheet laid on the easel, the wooden plaque fell to the ground, which amused everyone there.
The King was left shocked and hysterical as he dropped the plate to the ground; This proves that work does not always produce perfect results.
Oxford PV is a globally recognized pioneer of next-generation solar technology and today’s visit gave the monarch the chance to meet members of staff and see some of the technology in action.
On arrival, the King learned exactly what the business does and watched a demonstration of perovskite, the ‘magic material’ responsible for the higher efficiency of solar technology.
He then went to the laboratory to tour the facility and examine the components under a microscope.
In a statement made by Buckingham Palace before the visit, the following statements were made: “Oxford PV has been at the forefront of innovation in solar energy since 2010.
“Oxford PV’s tandem solar technology combines conventional silicon with advanced perovskite materials, delivering at least 20 percent more power than standard silicon panels in the same area.
“The company employs approximately 150 highly skilled professionals worldwide, including approximately 60 staff in R&D and global headquarters in Oxford.”
