King wants Andrew to lose last military title, minister says

The Ministry of Defense is working to remove the last honorary military rank of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor under the King’s guidance, the defense secretary has said.
John Healey said King Charles “made clear that this was what he wanted”.
Andrew, who was stripped of his title of prince on Thursday, retained his rank of Vice Admiral in the Royal Navy after giving up his other military duties in 2022.
Healey told the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday: “It’s the right move, it’s a move that the King has indicated we need to make and we’re working on that now.”
