Oman To Begin Hajj 2026 Registration Starting September 23 | World News

The Ministry of Foundations and Religious Affairs in Oman announced that the pilgrimage registration for 1447 AH pilgrimage season will be open between 23 September – 8 October. The appropriate participants are required to register online with the elections made according to the quota allocated to Oman, Saudi Arabia. The Ministry emphasizes that there is transparency and strict harmony with the registration rules in order to provide a regular and regular pilgrimage process.

Hajj 2026 Registration Information and Compliance

The pilgrimage registration for the 1447 AH season will begin on September 23 and will close on October 8th. Both Omani citizens and residents of 18 years and older are entitled to apply.

The records must be sent electronically via the official portal. www.hajj.om. Applicants must register using one of the following methods:

• Civil number
• Personal Identity Card
• Mobile phone number (if the electronic authentication system is connected to PKI)

The Ministry stressed that a valid civilian number on the applicant’s identity card is required for registration. Notification for those selected will follow this program:

First round: October 14 – October 30

Second round: November 2 – November 6

Third round: November 9 – November 11, 2025

Successful candidates will receive notification via SMS. The Ministry also plans to publish a complete program for the 2026 pilgrimage season by detailing the deadline for both air and land travel.

Pilgrimage arrangements, justice and service standards

In order to maintain transparency, the Ministry prohibits unauthorized pilgrimage service providers from interfering with the registration process. This allows applicants to freely select service providers without external influence.

Unless an official exemption is announced through the official channels of the Ministry (website, social media or local press), applications sent outside or after the deadline will not be accepted.

Providing incorrect or incorrect information during registration can lead to disqualification. If this, the Ministry will cancel the applicant’s home and appoint the next appropriate person.

Final approval and travel timeline
