KPMG misconduct comes under fire from Greens, Pococc

The Greens are calling on the federal government to ban accounting firm KPMG after revelations of unethical behavior in the audit division of the big four firms.

Senator Barbara Pocock went after KPMG in the same way she went after PwC Australia and government contracts when its breach of confidentiality was first announced in January 2023.

PwC Australia This has led to the firm being at the center of two major parliamentary committee investigations and becoming the Greens’ poster child when it comes to discussing rebuilding the civil service and cutting consultancy spending.
