Kristen Bell’s friends turn on her with savage disclosures: Insiders reveal poisonous whispers behind her back… as she goes into full diva mode

nobody wants This!

Actress Kristen Bell caused a stir this week with a tone-deaf Instagram post celebrating her husband Dax Shepard’s wedding anniversary.

Under a photo of herself embracing Shepard, 50, Bell wrote: “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you.’ Many men have killed their wives at some point. Even though I am very tempted to kill you, I never will.”

The reaction from her 15.8 million followers was swift and harsh; Critics accused Bell, 45, of making light of domestic violence.

But despite such a damaging claim, and even returning to screens with her second series this week in the hit Netflix comedy series ‘Nobody Wants This’, in which she stars alongside Adam Brody, Bell has kept her word.

And anyone waiting for an apology can give up; because the Daily Mail has learned that Bell is investigating his recovery.

‘Many people would have liked him to apologize or remove the post, but he did not and the post is still there. “She doesn’t want to be told how to live her life or be bullied into doing something she doesn’t want to do,” the insider said, before warning: “But eventually, whatever happens, happens.”

The insider added: ‘To him, if people aren’t going to laugh at it, that’s their problem. He feels there are bigger problems in the world than what he says. If given the chance to do it all over again, he would do it.’

But this stubbornness reportedly came at a price, and some of his friends took a pessimistic view of his stubbornness.

‘Many people close to Kristen are happy to be outraged by her comments because most of the time, whether they’re a joke or not, she never sees how her words can hurt people,’ the insider said.

‘Kristen gets through her days unscathed. It seems like he treats every situation he’s involved in as if he’s always right. He always has that “I’m better than you” mentality that rubs some people the wrong way. It’s no surprise that he hasn’t apologized because he never thinks he’s wrong.’

As for his actor husband, the insider says Shepard stands firmly by his wife’s side: ‘Dax has his full support in whatever she chooses to do from this moment on. He thought the post was funny. He clings to her like Will Smith clings to Jada.’

Regardless, Bell’s viral post led social media sleuths to uncover old videos of the couple; this includes a particularly unfortunate interview in 2012 in which Bell once again made light of domestic violence.

'Many people would have liked him to apologize or remove the post, but he did not and the post is still there. He doesn't want to be told how to live his life or be forced to do something he doesn't want to do,' the insider said.

The couple, who were engaged at that time, were starring in the same movie called ‘Hit and Run’. In a promotional interview, Bell teased Shepard about a time when he was boosting his car.

‘He was very excited. We headed out to brunch and the first thing I said five minutes into the ride was, “This looks like it’s going to break,” Bell recalled.

‘And I was so heartbroken. “Then I hit him a few times,” Dax jokingly replied.

Bell laughed and continued his joke, adding: ‘And then I got beaten. And guess what, I never opened my mouth again.’

The controversy for Bell emerged as the highly anticipated new season of Netflix show ‘Nobody Wants This’ was met with lukewarm reviews this week, with some critics deeming it ‘boring and predictable’.
