According to The Express Tribune, security forces and law enforcement mobilized quickly and conducted large-scale clearance operations; 92 militants, including three suicide bombers, were killed in these operations.
The army also stated that operations are continuing in the affected areas and that those behind the attacks will be tracked down and brought to justice.
Earlier on Friday, ISPR said 41 militants were killed in different operations in Panjgur and Harnai, which is the total number of militants killed since the last two days in Balochistan.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind said in a post on X that the attack on multiple locations was foiled by timely action of Pakistani police and Frontier Corps (FC).
In its statement, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the second phase of Operation Herof. According to the group, its fighters launched coordinated attacks on 48 locations spread across 14 cities of Balochistan. BLA claimed that its forces had maintained tight control over these areas for the last ten hours.
The group claimed that “BLA fighters successfully took control of numerous enemy outposts, including the central military headquarters, and continue to hold strong positions in these locations.”
BLA emphasized that more than 30 public properties, including banks, government offices and prisons, were taken under control and destroyed during the operation.
