“These two police officers do not have a legal authority to capture the White of Kummanjayi, to detain him and to apply force to him as they do and to apply even more power,” he said.

“By doing so, they committed to attack and battery and fake prison sentences. Alternatively, while using such powers (rejected), they violated a reasonable care of Kumanjayi.

“In both cases, two police officers are responsible to the property and the applicant and other members of the other Kummanjayi White’s family.”

The sought -after damage contains heavy damage for grave costs and the injury of the family.

In July, North Australia ABORİJIN Justice Agency (Naaja) opened a legal claim, Tasman argued that the region was indirectly responsible for the misconduct of civil servants, as they claimed to act in the fulfillment of duties when death occurred.

Allegedly, the relevant civil servants will be included in the case after identifying.

“Information about the conditions passed by Kumanjayi White… On May 27, 2025, the Northern Region was taken from two media bulletins published by the police force.

Tasman is looking for Federal Court orders to allow him to receive this information from an NT police investigation and his report for Coroner.

The legal proceedings against the police should start a restriction criticized by legal and human rights groups, including Naaja within two months of the event in the NT.

The first hearing in the case before the Longbottom of Justice was arranged for next week. The NT government did not have to make any defense in the case.
