Kuwait comes under heavy missile fire as Trump-Iran ceasefire on brink | World | News

As the Middle East approaches a new war, Kuwait is exposed to heavy missile bombardment from Iran.

The Kuwaiti military posted on X: “Kuwaiti air defense is currently repelling missile and drone attacks.”

“The Army General Staff states that if explosion sounds are heard, this is a result of air defense systems blocking enemy attacks.”

“Everyone is requested to comply with the safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities.”

The missile fire comes at a time when the short-term ceasefire between the United States and Iran is fragile.

The USA and Israel launched a joint attack on many important regions of Iran on February 28.

Iran retaliated by striking sites in the Middle East and closing the critical Strait of Hormuz trade route.

Iran and the United States have negotiated back and forth in an attempt to resolve the dispute but have failed to reach a long-term peace deal as the region awaits bidding hooks.
