An official has confirmed that several people were injured after Kuwait International Airport was the target of a drone attack. This comes after Iran launched retaliatory strikes in the Middle East following attacks by US and Israeli forces earlier today (February 28).
Kuwait State Civil Aviation General Authority confirmed in a statement about X that a drone targeted Kuwait International Airport, injuring many people and damaging the passenger terminal building (T1). The full statement is as follows: “The General Authority of Civil Aviation of the State of Kuwait, through its official spokesman, Mr. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, stated that a drone targeted the Kuwait International Airport, resulting in limited material damage to the passenger building (T1) as well as minor injuries to a number of workers.
