La Marque city leaders approve interim manager’s plan to prevent cash-flow crisis

La Marque, the city leaders in Texas have approved a financial plan to prevent the cash flow crisis in the next two weeks. The plan includes increasing real estate taxes, a city -wide ice cream application and reducing general city expenditures. The existing funds had fallen to $ 1.2 million, and the plan was designed by the newly appointed temporary manager Barbara Holly and the city’s Finance Director.
