Labor unfazed as Libs bash $312k spend on new veterans agency

Labor’s Veterans Affairs Secretary will “not apologize” for his department’s decision to sign a $312,774 “agency brand identity” contract with a design studio after the Coalition criticized the move as a vanity project.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) awarded a graphic design contract to Darlinghurst, NSW-based firm Bandit Design Group in a tender published in March. Since then, the initial $230,620 contract has exploded three separate times to its current size.
