Secret Service uncovers suspicious hunting stand nested in tree with direct line of sight to Trump’s Air Force One

The FBI is investigating another potential surveillance of President Trump’s security.

A suspicious hunting stand was found nestled in a tree in direct view of Air Force One in Palm Beach on Thursday. Donald Trump landed at the airport in Florida the next day.

FBI Director Kash Patel he told Fox News Digital: ‘Prior to the President’s return to West Palm Beach, the USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting ground in the line of sight of the Air Force One landing zone.

‘No person was identified at the scene. ‘Since then, the FBI has assumed leadership of the investigation, directing resources and using our cell phone analysis capabilities to collect all evidence from the scene.’

The stand is not affiliated with any person.

The Secret Service was ‘working closely’ with the FBI as well as law enforcement in Palm Beach County.

Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi also told Fox that “there was no impact of any movement and no persons were at the scene or involved in the incident.”

“While we cannot provide detailed information about specific items or their purpose, this incident highlights the importance of our layered security measures,” Guglielmi said.

An additional law enforcement source stated that the stand was placed ‘months ago.’

The Secret Service’s eye-popping potential loss to the president’s security comes less than a month after Ryan Routh was found guilty on all charges related to the conspiracy to kill the then-presidential candidate in September 2024.

Donald Trump’s would-be assassin began stabbing himself in the neck with a pen in a Florida courtroom after jurors reached a unanimous verdict last month.

Routh managed to get close to Trump while the now-President was participating in a round of golf at the Trump International Golf Club property in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Routh was arrested after he was seen holding a rifle through a fence by a Secret Service agent.

John Nantz, a former FBI supervisory special agent and now a Townhall columnist, told the Daily Mail in July that Routh should not have gotten that close.

‘I heard… this wasn’t a planned move, okay? I understand that, but I’m not so sure I’m satisfied with that explanation,” Nantz remarked.

“I think you were probably still talking about resource allocation issues at that time,” Nantz added.

Limited resources were also cited as the reason for the security breach at Trump’s rally held in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024.

At the time, Trump was not yet the official GOP presidential candidate.

As of September last year, it was claimed that Trump already had presidential-level detail.

The first major attempt on Trump’s life occurred during a rally at the Farm Show Grounds in Butler on July 13, 2024; where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was perched atop a building just beyond the perimeter gates.

Crooks managed to fire a series of bullets into Trump’s head before officers took him down; one of them grazed his ear.
