The company was accredited by BRCGS (Brand Reputation through Global Compliance Standards) in 2024, a global food safety standard recognized in 130 countries.

After the BRCGS became aware of the case against Kısmet Kebaplar, its accreditation was reviewed and the firm was found to be compliant last month.

In a statement, Kismet Kebabs Ltd said the business was “significantly different” to how it operated five years ago.

“It is important to recognize that the matters in question relate to historical events and do not reflect the standards, systems, management structure or operational controls that exist in the business today,” a spokesman said. he added.
