Lejunae Wood: German man arrested at Heathrow and charged with teen Leajunne Wood’s murder

A man has been arrested at Heathrow Airport over the death of a child who died after suffering a head injury 14 years ago.
Lejunae Wood, 42, of Wuppertal, Germany, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of the murder of Leajunne Wood.
The Metropolitan Police said the murder charge followed an incident in Hayes, west London, in December 2007.
Leajunne, who was four months old at the time, suffered life-changing injuries, police said.
He later died on December 6, 2021, after pathologist reports revealed complications from a serious head injury.
The findings emerged in 2023, prompting the Met Police to launch a murder investigation.
Wood will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
