Benny Blanco has defended his personal hygiene just days after fans begged wife Selena Gomez to divorce him because of his ‘dirty feet’.

The 37-year-old record producer, whose bare feet got dirty in the pilot episode of his new podcast, touched on the social media frenzy during his appearance on the show. Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday.

At one point during the interview, Blanco, joined by fellow guest Lil Dicky, was asked questions about the situation.

“I neglected something important because there’s something that comes up when people are watching your multimedia experience, and people seem to be fascinated by the idea that Benny’s feet are very dirty,” Kimmel said.

A photo of the podcast episode appeared on the screen, showing Blanco sitting comfortably on the couch, a layer of dirt on the bottom of her feet.

The star then took off one of her boots to show off her very clean feet to the crowd.

“Someone come closer to my feet,” Blanco encouraged. ‘Look at this!’

Kimmel then told the musical artist to show him the bottom of his foot, which turned out to be clean.

‘Look at that clean foot. Look at this. Are you kidding me?’ he continued humorously as the live audience began to applaud.

Lil Dicky, whose full name is David Andrew Burd, chimed in to explain the situation, saying: ‘It was the first day we filmed anything, so the crew was coming and going.’

“So you’re saying Dave’s floor wasn’t clean,” Kimmel asked, and Lil Dicky added, “It was dirty that day.” You know what the floors are like.’

Elsewhere in the conversation, the talk show host joked to Blanco, “You should get an OnlyFans for this,” which prompted the record producer to proudly reply, “Thank you, thank you!” It caused him to say:

However, some viewers were disturbed by Blanco’s bare feet, which got dirty while lying on the couch.

While fans labeled the music artist as ‘disgusting’, some also encouraged Gomez, whom he married in 2025, to divorce him.
