Lebanese journalist killed in targeted Israeli airstrikes, officials say

According to a statement from his office, Aoun said that preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty over all its territory is his top priority and that Lebanese negotiators will seek an end to Israeli attacks, the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanon, the release of Lebanese prisoners in Israel, the deployment of Lebanese troops to the Israeli border and the beginning of the reconstruction process.
