Patients in Green Bay, Appleton got new options in 2025, with more on the way

Another hospital is coming to the Green Bay area in the new year, but overall healthcare is poor. still growing in the area with several recent major clinic expansions or openings of new health centers.
The foundation of the new bed tower of the Hastanesi Kardeş Health System will be laid in 2026. St. Major $270 million expansion of St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center. St. While St. Mary’s expansion is expected to be completed in 2028, other health systems have announced expansions of care opening in late 2025 or expected to open next year.
Here’s a timeline of four new services that have recently launched in Green Bay or Fox Valley or will be coming to the area in 2026.
Howard Rehabilitation Hospital
A rehabilitation care hospital is planned to open in Howard in the fall of 2026. Life Point Health It is building Howard Rehabilitation Hospital in the 100 block of South Taylor Street. The inpatient hospital will have 40 beds to provide rehabilitation and recovery care for strokes, traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders and other injuries and disorders.

Walk-in mental health clinic for students in Green Bay
Wisconsin Children’s opened a walk-in clinic in September for students to find help. Green Bay Mental Health Walk-in Clinic Emplify Health’s 301 E. Joseph St. Located at the Behavioral Health clinic at.
Children ages 5 to 18 can enter without a parent and without an appointment to speak with a mental health therapist. A therapist and clinical assistant are always present at the clinic, and social workers are also on staff.
Students may receive a therapy session, safety assessment, and connection to future resources. The walk-in clinic is similar to others at Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee and Kenosha. The clinic is open from Monday to Friday from noon to 18.30.
Wisconsin Children’s Pediatric Urgent Care in Appleton
Children’s Wisconsin opens new pediatric urgent care unit at the Appleton clinic on Oct. 13. Children may receive urgent care if their primary care physician’s office is closed even though they do not need urgent care. Our unit has one treatment room, two triage rooms and six examination rooms.
If the child has a more serious illness or injury, families will need to go to the emergency room. Urgent care at Children’s Hospital does not offer physical exams or vaccinations.
Urgent care is open Monday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., at 2575 E. Evergreen Drive, Appleton.
Prevea’s new orthopedic clinic in Green Bay
Prevea Health opened a new store Orthopedic Walk-in Injury Clinic In August, HSHS St. St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, 1726 Shawano Ave. inside.
There is no need to make an appointment. The clinic offers imaging, support and follow-up care for sports injuries, strains, joint pain or other injuries. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
