Lee Andrews ‘will need to pay £100,000 fine’ to be released from Dubai prison as wife Katie Price continues her mission to free him

Katie Price will have to pay £100,000 to have her husband Lee Andrews released from prison in Dubai, according to reports.

Lee, who married the 48-year-old former glamor model in January after a whirlwind romance, has spent the last few weeks detained in Al Awir prison, not for espionage as he claimed, but for a ‘private civilian matter’.

It was announced early on Wednesday that Lee ‘will not be released from prison anytime soon’, although he is expected to be released on Monday.

Now, insiders say the would-be businessman will have to pay a £100,000 fine if he is released.

‘Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison. A source said that despite everything that’s going on, Lee is still her husband and Katie wants to take him out and get some much-needed answers. Sun.

Katie shared a cryptic post on Instagram on Wednesday about ‘heartbreak and loss she didn’t see coming’, a day after she flew to reunite with her husband in Dubai.

An insider told the Daily Mail: ‘Katie [Al Awir] He was sent to prison on Wednesday to try to talk to Lee. ‘He’s still locked in there and doesn’t look like he’ll be coming out anytime soon.’

While flying to Dubai, Katie shared the following quote on Instagram: ‘Behind every strong woman there is a story that changed her. A heartbreak he didn’t see coming. A loss he never wanted. A war he never wanted to fight.

Katie was spotted at London Gatwick airport on Monday as she flew to Dubai to reunite with Lee, who has not been seen for weeks.

On Tuesday, Lee mysteriously re-followed Katie after she unfollowed her on Instagram, but has otherwise remained silent on social media.

But despite recent events, Katie appeared determined to reunite with Lee and was seen wheeling a huge pink bag alongside videographer and photographer Ben Algar, who will no doubt capture the reunion on camera.

In a chat on her podcast The Katie Price Show, which aired last Thursday, Katie detailed the two-minute phone call she had with Lee after he was thought to be ‘missing’ for two weeks, and tried to explain some of the things that haven’t come to mind since he left.

It was first reported that his phone was ‘turned back on’ at the time of his disappearance after it ‘went dark’ while in custody last week.

He still appeared to be active on social media, and claims at the time suggested he was using his mobile phone.

A source claimed that one of Lee’s calls was rejected on Sunday morning.

However, Katie now claimed that those who ‘interrogated’ Lee in prison were people using his phone.

He said: ‘I asked him about his phone situation. He didn’t talk on his phone; He was interrogated and his phone was taken care of. So they were messing with his phone; That wasn’t Lee.’

He later also described how she asked him about rumors that he had been following another woman online during the time he went missing, and said: ‘What happened to the woman was that she activated her account and she followed him, or he followed her.
