Leh Airport’s new terminal 83% complete; capacity to triple to 54 flights a day; watch video – The Economic Times Video

According to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, Leh Airport’s new integrated terminal building is 83% physically completed. Once operational, the terminal will have the capacity to handle up to 54 flights per day, almost three times the airport’s current capacity. The expansion is expected to improve connectivity to Ladakh, improve passenger transport, support tourism and strengthen access to one of India’s most strategically important Himalayan regions. The project is part of the Centre’s broader effort to modernize aviation infrastructure across the country.
