Leigh Francis suffered a nasty facial cut after an interaction with an overexcited fan went wrong.
The 53-year-old comedian revealed that a woman accidentally scratched his face while he was DJing at the Sound Bites festival in Syon Park over the weekend.
Leigh showed off the unsightly cut on TikTok, revealing the scrape narrowly missed her eye.
He told his followers: ‘I walked into the crowd and some people were jumping for joy, it was such a great feeling. “He said ‘I love you’ and brought his hands up to my face and the rather long thumb did this’. He then turned to the camera to show off the grisly scratches.
He added: ‘It could have been worse, it could have gotten in my eye but yeah it was a bit of a naughty one, wasn’t it?’ (sic).
Leigh’s followers expressed concern in the comments: ‘Oh my God Leigh this is so bad’ and ‘this looks so bad’.

In another video, Leigh showed fans her injury after taking a shower while portraying her alter ego Avid Merion.
The TV star joked that he looked like a ‘sexy man of action’ but said he would stand further away from the crowd in future.
The DJ set came after Celebrity Juice presenter Leigh revealed why she was happy to leave the ITV series after 14 years.
Hosted by Keith Lemon, played by Leigh, the show has become a no-holds-barred playground for celebrity guests who are more than willing to leave their dignity at the door.
The comedian decided it was time to shelve the show in 2022 due to changes in its humor that left younger viewers feeling like “nothing is acceptable anymore.”

He told the publication: ‘Nothing is acceptable anymore; In times past ‘rules were rules’ and now they’re different, so of course there were things back then that you wouldn’t do anymore.

‘You don’t set out to offend anyone, you just set out to make people laugh, but for me now when I come up with an idea it has to be a straight idea with a bit of silliness.
‘Many comedians now present straight shows, funny variety shows, but perhaps not as funny as a sketch show.’
He admitted that he thought it was a ‘shame’ for viewers because some still want to watch that old-school goofy comedy that was the pinnacle of television in the 2000s.
Leigh admitted that comedy ‘will always make someone uncomfortable’, but thinks this is because it is ‘taken too seriously’.
“At the end of the day you’re always going to upset someone – but that’s just comedy and I feel like everything is taken too seriously in these modern times,” he added.
