LinkedIn launches ‘Year in Review’ feature; check how to create, share, edit and eligibility to use it

What’s in the LinkedIn Year in Review?
The 2025 summary is highly visual and shareable, designed to distill complex engagement data into easy-to-digest slides. Key metrics that stand out include:
- Networking growth: Total profile views, post views, and new connections added in 2025.
- Content performance: Highlights of the user’s most engaging posts, showing which topics, articles, or videos resonated the most.
- Audience insights: Data on the industries and top companies profile viewers work in.
- Professional milestones: Summary of new job titles, certifications earned, and skills added during the year.
The feature acts as a professional highlight reel, helping users think about their networks and careers while providing insights to plan for the new year.
How can you access your 2025 summary?
LinkedIn is gradually rolling out this feature worldwide. Users can view their summaries through three main channels:
- Homepage banner: The “Year in Review” banner appears at the top of the LinkedIn feed on mobile and desktop apps.
- Notifications: Push notifications and in-app alerts notify users when their personalized digest is available.
- Search and tags: Users can search #YearInReview in the LinkedIn search bar to find the official landing page and see how others in their industry are celebrating.

When will I receive my Year Review?
Eligible users will receive notifications on December 17. The summary can then be accessed via the LinkedIn app by searching for “Year in Review” or by clicking the link in notifications or email.
Where can I see my summary?
The experience is only available on the mobile app. Users will see a banner or notification in the LinkedIn app when their summary is ready. Why can’t I see my Year in Review?
You may not be eligible if:
- You did not meet the minimum participation requirements.
- Your preferred language is not supported (available in English, Spanish and Portuguese).
You may also be eligible but still not see it if:
- You are not using the latest version of the LinkedIn app.
- You are trying to access LinkedIn via desktop or web.
- You are experiencing a network or installation issue.
Can I share my Year in Review?
Your summary is private and visible only to you. You can choose to share the final screen on your feed or via message. The text can be edited before sending.
How long is the Year Review available?
The experience is available for a limited time and will expire on January 31, 2026.
