Living the high life! ‘Crashed jet plane’ split in two in the Somerset countryside is Britain’s quirkiest AirBnB

Britain’s most bizarre Airbnb is a ‘collapsed aircraft’ divided in the forest – it offers guests ‘real -life kazaziye’ experience.
The unique accommodation consists of two parts of an old Lufthansa aircraft brought together to resemble a ‘burgundy’ scene in the isolated Somerset countryside.
The old Dash 8 Q400 aircraft purchased for two parts on EBAY was moved in a trailer for five hours before it was placed on the spot.
The original airplane seats were then supplied and added, the rooms were divided into an economic class section in the first -class car that could match a ‘main suite’ and two camp beds.
Martyn Baker, owner Martyn Baker, was flying a part of a tree in a caravan he had previously rented after Christmas last year.
He said: ‘It caused too much damage, so I thought I wanted something a little different when we took it out.
“ I saw someone selling this Glamping pod of two parts on Ebay. I stole the seller and bought one half of it for £ 9,000 and the other for £ 8,000.
“ I know this is a Dash 8 used by a passenger plane, Lufthansa.
