Man accused of carrying out acid attack on daughter, niece in Kasaragod arrested

A man accused of making a brutal acid attack on his daughter and nephew was arrested by the police on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

46 -year -old Karnataka Native KC Manogy defined as the suspect, Rajapuram Parakadav’daki isolated in a house was found under the bed.

On Friday, Manoj, who was reported to be drunk, poured acid in his brother’s house to his 17 -year -old daughter and his 10 -year -old nephew. The young man stayed there with his mother. Both victims suffered serious burns in their hands and legs and were taken to hospital. Since then, they have been discharged after their health healed.

Following the attack, a large -scale search was initiated for Manoj. The police received information about the isolated place in Parkkadav. Police officers found that Manoj was hiding under the bed where he was hidden for a day.

The defendants will be produced before the peace judiciary and are expected to be arrested.
