Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have ended their nine-year marriage after ‘living apart’ for most of the year following a secret trial separation.

The EastEnders star, 33, is understood to be insisting on divorcing former The Only Way Is Essex regular Dan, 34, after ‘mentally checking out’ their tumultuous relationship.

The couple, who raised their 11-year-old daughter Ella and 7-year-old Mia, decided to get married in 2017 after being together for four years. Dan also has a 12-year-old son, Teddy, from a previous relationship.

Jacqueline and Dan have faced difficulties over the years as their marriage faltered due to cheating allegations against Dan.

Dan moved out of the family home when they briefly separated in March last year.

They then headed for a make-or-break getaway to Mexico, and in June 2025, the couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary with a romantic getaway at a luxury hotel in London to celebrate the milestone.

Now sources say Sun this time the split is ‘permanent’, adding: ‘Everyone knows they have their own problems, but after some time apart this year they decided to make the split permanent. Their two daughters are their main priority.’

Dan is said to have moved ‘permanently into the secret house he bought without Jacqueline’s notice last month’ during their brief separation in early 2025.

Jacqueline was left in shock when she discovered her husband had bought a house in Essex last year, putting further pressure on their strained relationship.

The couple was reportedly struggling to make their marriage work after weeks of heated arguments.

‘After everything Jac’s been through, she’s had enough. The source added that they have been living separate lives for this year and are now over it. ‘Living in limbo, there is little he can afford to take back.’

The Daily Mail understands at the time that Dan and Rosey were friends and the pair followed each other on the social media platform.

To talk OK! magazine, Jac said: ‘It really takes a village to raise a family and there is a village around me. My husband is incredible.
