Longtime developer buys 81 acres on prime corner south of Charlotte
For a long time, Charlotte developer Mel Graham has purchased a large Union County property with a new project plans.

Last month, Graham closed a $ 10 million purchase from an area of 81.6 acres during the NC highway 16. Charlotte Business Journal plans to work with the town officials to prepare a project plan for the site by e-mail to Journal.
The project site is in the northwest corner of Providence and Rea Roads in Weddington. Graham has a nearby land nearby. An extension of Rea Road is expected to pass through this property to alleviate traffic in the region.
Graham said he plans to negotiate with the NC Ministry of Transportation next year to meet the town officials in Weddington and to plan the traffic concerns.
