Lucky Aussie scores entire $60m Powerball jackpot prize as Thursday night’s winning numbers revealed

A single Australian has become a multi-millionaire, taking home tonight’s $60 million Powerball jackpot.
The winner had to match seven numbers as well as the all-important Powerball.
The winning numbers were 26, 30, 10, 34, 16, 5, 12 and, in the Powerball, 11.
The winners of the second division received a share of $33,614.65, amounting to just over a million each.
Lott spokesman Matt Hart said Australia’s biggest jackpot game was no stranger to breaking records.
“From its $1 million jackpot offering in 1996 to today’s blockbuster draws, Powerball has kept Australia on the edge of its seat with high dreams, blockbuster jackpots and life-changing wins for 30 years,” he said.
“For millions of Australians, Powerball has sparked countless hopes and dreams and delivered truly life-changing moments.”

So far this year, eight Powerball division winners have raised more than $205 million; four in New South Wales, three in Victoria and one in Western Australia.
The largest Powerball prize won so far in 2026 is $80 million.
Since the first Powerball drawing on Thursday, May 23, 1996, 587 Powerball major league winners have collectively taken home $8,975,858,948.18.
