Ludhiana woman escapes robbery by hanging from moving autorickshaw on Phillaur-Ludhiana highway

A shocking event of robbery on a moving Autorickshaw on the Phillaur-Ludhiana Motorway of Punjab created an excitement in social media throughout the country. The incident took place on Tuesday (September 9th) near Jaladhar Bypass, a woman escaped from death hanging from the moving vehicle.

Sacrifice Meena Kumari boarded an Autorickshaw from Jalandhar Bypass to catch a bus from Phillaur. Apart from the driver, the other two passengers were already in Autorickshaw. Meena soon realized that creating three mistakes was trying to rob.
According to a Times of India report, Autorickshaw approached the target, one of the robbers asked him to slow down the driver and the two tried to stop him.
It is reported that the robbers tied Meena’s hands and threatened them with sharp weapons. But the courage, Meena screamed and got out of Autorickshaw, and also pointed out what was on the way to help.
A car following Autorickshaw recorded the entire event and allowed authorities and social media users to witness the brave escape of the woman.

Police arrested two suspects, Subhash Nagar living near the Ar model school and Mohit living in Dimple. The third suspect, Subhash Nagar, has not yet been arrested. According to reports, Mohit has a penalty history and there are three previously registered criminal cases against him.
