Northbound traffic is advised to follow the hollow square routing symbol:

At Junction 20, exit the M1 northbound and take the first (west) road onto the A4303.

Continue along the A4303 towards the A4303/A426 Lutterworth Road/Rugby Road Roundabout and then take the second exit at the roundabout.

Continue west along the A4303, passing two junctions at Coventry Road and Magna Park, to the A5/A4303 Junction at El Roundabout.

Then take the fourth exit from the Roundabout and head north along the A5.

Continue north along the A5 Watling Street for approximately 10.3 km to Junction 1 of the A5/M69.

At the junction take the fifth exit northbound from the M69.

Proceed along the M69 northern boundary for approximately 14.5 km to M69 Junction 2/M1 Junction 20 and rejoin the M1 Northern boundary.
