M4 traffic LIVE: Drivers brought to a standstill as emergency services workers deployed | UK | News

Police officers and emergency services workers were deployed to a section of the M4 which was stopped following an incident. All lanes of the M4 westbound between J42 and J43 were closed on Friday morning.

One lane later reopened, but Traffic Wales warned drivers to plan accordingly and expect delays. A spokesperson for the organization said: “The M4 between J42 Earlswood and J43 Llandarcy is heading West. Traffic is currently at a standstill. There are long delays in the area. Please allow extra time for your journey.”
