Motorists are facing major delays on the M5 after a crash partially blocked the southbound carriageway between Junction 19 (Portishead) and Junction 20 (Clevedon). BristolLiveOn one of the busiest summer getaway days of the year.

Traffic congestion is soaring as traffic cameras show queues in all three lanes as thousands of motorists hit the road for the school holidays. The incident was first reported at around 10.30am and traffic monitoring service Inrix confirmed the motorway was partially closed.
