Traffic on the M5 is increasing as a crash near Gloucester causes delays.

Inrix reports: “Due to the accident on the M5 North from J10 A4019 (Cheltenham) to J9 A46 (Tewkesbury), all traffic has been temporarily stopped and traffic is steady.” National Highways traffic officers are also at the scene, as well as emergency services.

All southbound traffic is currently being held. Traffic and delays are increasing in the area. Gloucestershire Police said the closure was expected to last “several hours”.
