MAGA unleashes fury at SNL’s impression of Trump and Epstein files: ‘You people are sick’

Angry Trump supporters slammed Saturday Night Live for its flippant skit mocking the president’s response to his name being named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
A cold open skit on Saturday night sparked outrage among conservative critics as it depicted Donald Trump mistakenly admitting to a damning affair with the disgraced sex trafficker.
‘You guys are sick!’ one X user reacted to the five-minute satire segment. ‘Hope [Trump] someone else intervened.
‘SNL makes fun of Trump. The water is wet. One critic bluntly called the series “Predictable and boring.”
At a news conference, Trump, played by James Austin Johnson, responded sloppily to questions from reporters who mentioned him repeatedly in emails that Epstein released Wednesday.
His first unsuccessful response came after reporter Kenan Thompson asked him why he was reluctant to release the Epstein files even though many of his supporters had called for them to be shared. ‘What does Trump have to hide?’ he asked.
“I’m hiding almost nothing, just enough to make the situation extremely suspicious,” Johnson’s Trump said before making what SNL portrayed as several Freudian slips in his back-and-forth with Kenan.
‘But let me ask you a question; If there is something incriminating about me in the files, then why should I cover it up?’

Kenan’s confused character responded humorously: ‘Isn’t that exactly the reason you covered them up?’
‘Okay, let me go again. If I were innocent, wouldn’t I release all the files?’ The president’s impersonator responded smugly as laughter erupted from the crowd.
‘It’s a book we’re probably excited to read – as evidenced by the thousands of photos of us dancing and gnashing our teeth together at various parties, always pointing and leering at something off camera.’
Another journalist, played by Mikey Day, asked Trump to respond to a specific email in which Epstein described Trump as a “dog that doesn’t bark.”
This led to a rambling tangent in which Johnson tried to identify Trump with terms used in the gay community.
‘Okay, first of all, I’m not a dog. I’m not a dog, more of a pup or possibly an otter; I’m definitely not a homosexual. “I think it’s obvious, it’s not like that at all,” he replied.
‘Maybe twunk, you know gays have words for everything, right – “kiki”, we like to say “kiki”, it means talk.’
In another rambling speech, the Trump impersonator said his answers about Epstein often contradict each other because ‘Trump exists in multiple timelines.’

‘“This is Trump’s multiverse theory, we’re just experiencing the worst possible,” he said.
The president’s character then told the crowd of reporters that he would release all the Epstein files and sell each one individually. For the ‘low, low price of $800’.
Holding up a framed copy of one of the incriminating emails allegedly sent by Jeffrey, he said: ‘This is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, very low resolution, printed screenshot of one of the many files mentioning President Trump.’
In an off-color joke aimed at mocking Trump’s links to Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu, he told the audience: ‘I just asked “Does Putin have a photo of Trump blowing Buba?” I ordered the one that says.
He concluded his speech by saying that he pardoned a turkey sex offender ‘by sheer coincidence’ (referring to Democrats’ opinion that Trump was too forgiving towards sex offenders).
Many people took issue with the cold open because it not only attacked Trump but also failed to target prominent Democrats with ties to Epstein.
“If you keep coming, baby, the Clintons and half of Hollywood are going to jail,” someone claimed on X.
‘Emails from Epstein are not evidence, he got revenge on Trump, just another hoax by the Democrats!?’ a man wrote.
‘Oh my God, Epstein hated Trump because he didn’t play in the pedophile league. “You actually protected this pedophile and refused to report on him,” added another.
‘@NBCSNL hasn’t been funny in years,’ someone wrote.
