Maharashtra: Work on Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project in full swing
New Delhi [India]July 5 (Memorial): National High -Speed Railway Companies Limited (NHSRCL) said on Saturday in Maharashtra in Maharashtra.
According to NHSRCL, working in all three upgraded station in the state, tane, virar and Boisar is rapidly progressing and the first signs for Virar and Boisar stations have recently been released.

An important component of the project is the 21-kilometer underground and submarine tunnel connecting the Mumbai Bullet Station in the Bandon-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Shilphata. 16 km from the tunnel of 21 km, tunnel boring machines (TBMS) is excavated, while the new Austrian tunnel method (NATM) using 5 km is carried out. The tunnel contains a 7 km lower part under the Than Creek and points to a significant success in the history of the Indian tunnel.
So far, about 4.1 km tunnel headed from the Shilphata region has been obtained through NATM and two simultaneous faces have been developed from the Adit portal.
In terms of vertical structure, a base plate was completed in the Vikhroli shaft (56 meters deep) and Sawli shaft (39 meters deep). In addition, mud treatment plants are installed in shaft positions and the MAHAPE Tunnel Casting Assist is actively producing tunnel primer segments.
