Major clothing chain to close all 15 stores as company confirms ‘it’s time to say goodbye’ | World | News

A 15-store clothing chain is preparing to close all of its locations following major liquidation sales. Born Giyim announced on social media on Wednesday, April 22 that it was time to “say goodbye” to those who have been in the industry for 16 years.

The popular company, which operates in Ireland, will only close all its branches after launching a closing sale on Thursday with discounts of up to 70%. Making the sad announcement in an Instagram post, the company said: “After 16 wonderful years in business, it is time to say goodbye.

“We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support over the years, for shopping with us, for supporting us, and for being a part of our journey. It has meant more than we can put into words.”

The well-known company, which sells clothes from various clothing brands, thanked its employees and continued: “To our wonderful team, thank you for being the heart and soul of our business. Your commitment and dedication will always be appreciated.”

In the announcement on Born Giyim’s website, it was stated that the company was in temporary liquidation and therefore gift certificates could not be accepted during the sales period. RSVPLive reports.

The notice also stated that all items purchased during the sale will have a 30-day refund or return policy, provided there is a valid reason for the refund or return and the customer has a valid liquidation sale customer receipt.

He also said: “As the company is in provisional liquidation, please note the following: No gift vouchers can be accepted during a liquidation sale, shares purchased prior to liquidation are non-refundable, credit notes provided by the store prior to liquidation cannot be accepted.

“Refunds/stock returns/credit notes are treated as unsecured claims in liquidation. To make a claim in liquidation please contact bornclothing@bdo.ie for further details.

“All Clearance Sales allow for a 30-day refund/return policy in store with justification and valid clearance sale customer receipt. Any additional statutory rights remain unaffected. If the relevant store has closed, please contact bornclothing@bdo.ie for further details on how to request a refund.”
