A large police and fire and rescue team was spotted near Central Station responding to a fire in an office building
A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesman said they were called to the fire at the top of the nine-storey building at about 6.10am.
“Fire crews are reaching the building and trying to extinguish and control the fire,” he said.

“We responded to that area with 15 fire trucks, and the police and ambulance are also helping.
“There are no reports of any injuries; we do not believe there is any life-threatening situation at this time… we are still concerned for those living in the building and are working to ensure their safety.”
