Man arrested after horse and cart involved in fatal collision with e-bike cyclist

The driver of a horse and carriage has been arrested following a fatal collision with an e-cyclist in east London.
Police were called to reports of a crash on Folly Lane in Chingford on Wednesday evening.
The 46-year-old cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, Metropolitan Police said.
His family is supported by expert police officers.
A 25-year-old man driving the horse and carriage was arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of disorderly and angry driving.
Detective Sergeant Faye Cook, from the Met’s serious collision investigation unit (SCIU), said: “This is a tragic incident that resulted in the sad death of a man.
“We have arrested one person and our investigation is ongoing. We would ask anyone with information or CCTV or dashcam footage to contact my officers.”
