Man arrested after two teens die in car crash with tree near Oxted

Surrey Police said officers were called to reports of a serious crash involving a white Tesla on Holland Road, near the junction with Popes Lane in the Hurst Green area of Oxted, shortly before 10pm GMT on Saturday.
A 30-year-old man from Oxted was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police said one teenager died at the scene and the other died later in hospital. A third young man remains in hospital with “life-threatening injuries”.
Surrey Police said the Tesla driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Holland Road was closed between the junction with Popes Lane and the junction with Warren Lane while officers carried out investigations on Sunday.
Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with relevant footage to get in touch.
