Man charged with attempted murder after alleged violent, bloody stabbing at home in Sydney’s west

A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged fight left two men fighting for their lives at a house in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services received calls about multiple people being stabbed at a house on Palm St in Girraween at around 3.30pm on Monday.

CCTV footage obtained by 9 News allegedly captured a man dressed in black approaching the front door of a home.

A chair was allegedly used to fend him off.

Police allege two men, aged 30 and 56, were stabbed multiple times in the torso and were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Another man, a 37-year-old man, also suffered injuries to his arms.

He was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Police believe the three men knew each other.

The 37-year-old man was refused bail and is expected to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
