Trump threatens more US cities with federal takeover
US President Donald Trump said that he would probably intervene in another city ruled by the Democrats, expand the criminal pressure on Chicago and threaten to get the full control of the Washington DC instead of policing.
Without evidence that the violent crime was out of control in the country’s capital, Trump deployed DC National Guard soldiers and federal agents on the streets last week with the authority to reduce the crime.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said that Trump received his comments seriously, but did not receive official communication from the management on Federal Law Enforcement Forces or Military Deployment.

“There are many things that the federal government can do to help us reduce crime and violence in Chicago, but sending army is not one of them.”
