Man drowns at Balkampet underpass following heavy rains in Hyderabad

A 27 -year -old man who went home from work was swept in the flood waters accumulated at the bottom of the balcampet after the heavy rains that polluted Hyderabad on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. An officer from the Sr Nagar police said he was running from his office in Balnagar to his home in Mushererabad.

The victim, a resident of Musheerabad, is Mohammad Sharfuddin, the power of the gushing water overturns him and at 23:

According to the police, Sharfuddin was employed at a food production facility in Balanagar. He survived by his wife and young daughter.

Sr Nagar Inspector T. Srinath Redy, said he had a regular way and said he was aware of the repetitive water wetting. The Officer said, “When the incident occurred, he had hurry to join a work near his house in Musheerabad,” the Officer said.

The inspector added that the body was rescued from the same area and that he was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem examination.
