Man ‘duct taped, pointed gun at toddlers’: police

A man was accused of taking two or three children with parcel band and taking a photo while pointing to the children.

Police arrested the 44 -year -old man last week after an investigation into illegal weapons and illegal drug allegations on Emerald property in the center of Queensland.

While investigating his property, the police seized his mobile phone and found an image showing two children connected to the parcel band.

The police claim that the image shows that the man showed guns to the children and that the man conveys the photo of the other people.

Children both known but not related to man were three years old.

Images provided by the police, the man is claimed to have pistols.

The man was accused of illegal having fiery weapons, dangerous behaviors and lack of freedom.

He was given strict bail conditions and will face the Emerald Magistrate Court on 26 August.

In a separate incident, a 59 -year -old man is accused of dangerous drugs and child sexual abuse.

The police claim that the man provides dangerous drugs to a child and raped between June and July.

The allegations attracted the attention of the police by the “relevant community members”.

Police thanked the society to inform the officers for the issues.

Detective Sergeant Dylan Brook said, “Emerald police are determined to support the victims of sexual abuse with compassion and to work carefully and without fatigue to keep the criminals responsible through the court system.” He said.

The man is accused of grooming a child under 16 years of age, rape, providing dangerous drugs to a smaller, and violating bail.

He was detained on Tuesday to confront the Emerald Magistrate Criminal Court.
