Man flown to hospital after shooting in Preble County, sheriff says

Preble County Şerif Mike Simpson was shot in a special preeble district community on Tuesday night.

Simpson said he found a 24 -year -old man with a fiery weapon on the upper body.

The shooting happened during a conflict between the two men.

Simpson, “the victim of the fire and the issue of shooting, they know each other. We are trying to determine exactly what this relationship is right now,” he said.

The man ran to a neighbor’s house for help.

Simpson said the authorities carried out a search order where the shoot took place and that the scene is working to process the scene at the neighbor’s house.

A Careflight helicopter took the victim seriously, but with life -threatening injuries to Miami Valley Hospital.

Simpson said the man who shot the gun was currently detained and questioned.

The shooting is under investigation by the Preble County Sheriff Office.
