Man found stabbed on street after machete brawl at Broadmeadows, Melbourne

A teenager was found stabbed to death on the streets of a Melbourne suburb after police were called to the scene of a brutal machete fight.
A 19-year-old man was found with stab wounds on the corner of Kitchener and Goulburn Streets in Broadmeadows at around 9.35pm on Saturday.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called to the scene after a report of a fight nearby.
Investigators understand that a group of men armed with machetes had been fighting at Cuthbert and Joffre Streets in the minutes before.
Police said the group left in vehicles before officers arrived.
No arrests were made.
It is being investigated whether the fight was related to the stabbing.
