Man Loses Over Rs.3.5L, Crooks Lure him to Finish Fake Tasks
Haydarabad: Begumpet residents of 27 -year -old earned more than rs.3.5 Lakh by cyber criminals. Goibibo poses as representatives. The victim pulled his victim to finish a fake -based earning plan at Telegram and WhatsApp. According to the police, a message on the victim telegraph and Goibibo received a call to WhatsApp, one of the individuals who claimed to have come from the Indian promotions department.
They promised easy gains through simple online tasks, such as hotel ratings using the links sent via Telegram. Initially, the scammers gave credit to the victim’s account 970 RS and then RS.17.109 and showed the reality of the schema wrong.
On June 22, the sacrifice was added to a telegraph group where fake users shared screenshots of their so -called profits. The influence of this RS.1 has invested lakh. As tasks progressed, scammers manipulated a fake website to display a negative wallet balance, pushing more deposits.
The victim was transferred on the same day 88,027 RS and another RS 1 lakh, then on 23 June 1,69,882 RS. When the counterfeit site showed the RS.5 lakh deficit and promises 15 lakh for feedback, the victim was suspected and contacted the national cyber -faced assistant 1930 to report the fraud.
Haydarabad Cyber Criminal Police issued a public consultancy that invites citizens not to rely on telegraph, WhatsApp or not relying on investment proposals in unconfible platforms. It is recommended that the victims immediately notify such frauds in 1930 or Cybercrime.gov.in.
