Man murders three daughters, kills self in Namakkal

A 36 -year -old farmer killed three daughters between the ages of five and eight and ended his life in the Namakkal Region on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

P. Govindaraj (36), a farmer living in Mangalapuram near Rasipuram in the Namakkal Region, had three daughters of his wife Bhathi (26).

Early on Tuesday, Govindaraj lacked his wife Bharathi and his son in the bedroom and killed three daughters and broke their heads with a sickle. When the girls screamed, Bharathi tried to open the bedroom door, but he couldn’t. He then broke the door and left the room and found that his three daughters were killed and that Govindaraj was dead.

The police warned the neighbors warned. The police came to the scene and sent four bodies to Namakkal State Hospital after death. Police has attained a lawsuit and investigating it.

Police said the dead Govindaraj had previously worked as a manager at a Borewell company. Over the last year, he has dealt with farming on a 2.5 -acre agricultural land.

Together with his friends, he planned to buy a Borewell truck and received 13.5 Lakh loans from a private finance company in Attur in Salem region eight months ago. Five women also received 2.5 lakh loans through the self -aid group. However, after receiving the loan, instead of buying a truck, he renewed his home using this loan. He struggled to pay 27,000 installments per month for the loan and to pay back the loan borrowed through his wife. “We suspect that he might have taken this extreme step after killing his daughters,” a police source said a police source.
