Man shot dead by police in Townsville | Queensland

Queensland Police Service, after claiming that the officers moved towards them with a machete and knife, he said he had shot and killed a man in Townsville.

QPS said the police were called to the reports of a man with more than one gun on McKinley Street in Townsville’s North Ward just before 10:00 on Saturday.

Police said the man was shot in his chest and immediately died at the scene of medical aid.

The force said that the first information was moving towards the police while the first information was shot.

Supt Chris Lawson said the man was armed with a machete and a knife, and the officers came to the scene.

“He was shot as a result of the conflict that took place,” Lawson told journalists on Saturday afternoon.

“Now he’s dead and the Queensland police service is conducting an investigation to determine exactly what’s going on.”

Police said that the investigation by the Ethical Standards Command of Power will be audited by the state crime and corruption commission.

Lawson said Queensland police training allow civil servants to use deadly force when they are afraid of death or great physical damage to them or someone else.

“Part of the ongoing investigation by the Ethical Standards Command will be to ensure and ensure that it will happen,” he said.

Lawson said the police have not yet informed the man’s family.

“Today, this issue will clearly remind the police that the work done in our state every day is dangerous and is called for us to use deadly force,” he said.

Lawson said the police have not yet determined the age of the man and whether he was from Townsville.

Last month, the police said Townsville shot a 17 -year -old girl in the snow in a bar in West End.

Police said they were called to the hotel on the Ingham Road just before 17.30 on June 10, and then reported that a 17 -year -old girl with a knife had threatened.

Police claimed that the armed young man came to the police with a knife. They said they provided first aid and was taken to hospital for treatment.

He was reportedly accused of attacking a police officer.

Police said that no civil servant or public members were physically injured during the incident.
