Chopra Finishes Second In Diamond League Finals, Weber Wins Maiden Trophy

Zurich: Twice Olympic Medal Javelin Shooter Neeraj Chopra, Thursday, a command show here 90m plus two command shows removing the first trophy, the Elmas League finals for the third time for the third time.

Anderson Peters from Grenada, the defense champion, came fourth with 82.06m.
Chopra started with 84.35m and then followed with 82m and foul. It was in the third place in the semi -stage, and before 85.01 million efforts, he fouls his fourth and fifth attempts.
“This wasn’t too bad. But we’re very close to the world championships, so I still have to throw a little more.

Chopra said that everything in Tokyo would be “different” during the World Championship (13-21 September).
“Julian, he’s a good friend, and I’m always happy when I go well and we’re all forcing each other. There will be some friends who come to me in Tokyo from India.
“I have some friends living there. In the big championships, gold is more important than distant shots. So I will do my best to win the medal.”
Weber’s effort was also the third 90m plus shot of the season, as well as his career. On May 16, he won the title of Doha DL, and violated the 90m occupation with a 91.06m shot.
Chopra also violated the 90m sign with a 90.23m shot in Doha for the first time, but came second behind Weber.
Chopra will now go to Tokyo for the next month championship as the Defense Champion.
Weber 3-1 is head-headed against Chopra this season.

Weber, with the title of Thursday, expanded the head-to-head record against Chopra this season to 3-1. The Germans had previously ranked second at Doha DL in May and Orlen Janusz Kusocinski Monument event in Chorzow, Poland, the same month.
Chopra won at Paris DL in June and Weber came second.
However, Chopra manages Weber in general with a wide range of 15-5 in the competitions that contain the duo since 2016.
Chopra has not been in second place since June 2021.
On August 16 and August 22, respectively, DL jumped the Silesia and Brussels legs, but he was entitled to the finals with 15 points. The first six in the score table of the four meetings are entitled to the finals here.
There were four Diamond League meetings with men’s javelin shot, and Chopra competed only in two – in May in Doha and in June Paris. He became the second in Doha and won the title in Paris.
Chopra’s latest event was NC Classic in Bengaluru on July 5, and hosted and won with a 86.18m shot.
